John,
Last month, the nation’s most restrictive abortion ban since Roe v. Wade became law almost 50 years ago went into effect in Texas.
Republicans have made it clear that they will do anything to undermine Roe v. Wade and attack reproductive rights — disproportionately affecting the health of working class women.
We cannot forget that the Trump-stacked Supreme Court could have stopped this near-total abortion ban, but didn’t take it up — choosing to put politics above lives. That choice has inspired similar bans to get pushed through in states around the country.
It’s clear: Reproductive rights are on the ballot in 2022.
We can’t risk the all-out assault Republicans would take on reproductive rights if they gained control of Congress next year. We need to raise another $4,799 before tomorrow at midnight to make sure we have the resources to hold our Democratic majority. Chip in now to help us reach our goal and defend reproductive rights →

As a doctor, Ami has always understood the importance of reproductive decisions being between a patient and their doctor — and has fought to maintain this right every day in Congress. The truth is that bans on abortions like this don’t stop abortions, but does make them that much less safe.
States across the country are already looking to implement their own bans, similar to Texas. If Republicans gained control of the majority, there is no doubt that reproductive rights would be #1 on their chopping block. We can’t let that happen.
My Democratic colleagues and I are ready to keep delivering for all Americans, but we need to hold our majority in 2022 to do so.

Reproductive rights are human rights, and they must be protected.
Thank you,
