Last night, the state of Mississippi submitted its reply brief to the U.S. Supreme Court, doubling down on its request that the Court overturn Roe v. Wade in our case, Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization.

For nearly half a century, the Supreme Court has affirmed over and over again that the U.S. Constitution guarantees the right to abortion. And based on this precedent, Mississippi’s ban after just 15 weeks of pregnancy was decisively struck down in lower courts.

The only decision consistent with the rule of law in this case is for the Supreme Court to strike down Mississippi's ban.

If Mississippi is successful in gutting or overturning Roe, abortion could be banned or severly limited in half the states in the country.
