VIA THE WASHINGTON POST:
SUPREME COURT TO HEAR MAJOR GUN SAFETY CASE BACKED BY NRA
John, we can't let the NRA win: Will you sign our emergency petition calling for a BAN on carrying concealed weapons in public?

John, in just two weeks, the Supreme Court case will hear a case that could put all our efforts to save lives from gun violence in jeopardy. In fact, experts are going as far as calling it the case that could "make the NRA's dreams come true".
What's at stake? For the first time in decades, the Supreme Court is considering whether to undermine restrictions on concealed-carry permits — dramatically increasing the number of people who could be carrying hidden weapons in public.
This is NOT the time to sit idly by and hope someone else does the right thing. 2021 is already on track to become the deadliest gun violence year on record, and NRA allies like Mitch McConnell are digging their heels even deeper into the status quo. That's why we need to raise our voices – NOW. But our petition closes at midnight and we're still missing 12 signatures from your area. Please, add your name right now:
Before midnight, sign our emergency petition calling for a BAN on carrying concealed weapons in public!
