I believe in the power of storytelling. I know that our stories connect us, strengthen our movements, and bring folks in. In our work for safety and liberation, there will always be people and corporate interests with more money, who use their resources to protect their power by spreading disinformation and fear-mongering lies. Our power is in telling our stories boldly and speaking the truth.

This week, I’ve been inspired by my coworkers’ and friends’ honesty and vulnerability. Chavah shared their story as a Saint Paul renter who, by the time they graduated from high school, had moved 14 times.
