Dear subscribers to our funding alert list,

Blue Action Fund is pleased to announce a new open Call for Proposals [[link removed]]. This call will focus on Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. In case of transboundary projects, project components can also be carried out in Panama. The projects Blue Action Fund seeks to support should focus on establishing new Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) or expanding and enhancing management of existing ones as well as supporting sustainable livelihoods in coastal communities. With this call, Blue Action Fund expects to fund 4 to 6 projects, with a total volume of up to EUR 12 million. Concept notes [[link removed]] are due by January 24th 2020, midnight (CET).

Please ensure that you read carefully Blue Action Fund’s Grant Procedures Manual [[link removed]] and the Environmental and Social Management System [[link removed]] which both provide detailed information about our funding objectives and requirements.
