When we first launched Mandela's campaign for U.S. Senate, we weren't quite sure what to expect.

But shortly after his announcement, lots of people answered Mandela's call for building a historic coalition capable of flipping this Senate seat and transforming Wisconsin.

First, it was Priscilla from Milwaukee with an $18 contribution. Then it was Nathan from Appleton who contributed $50. Next came a $3 contribution from Elizabeth in Wausau...and after that, we were off to the races.

We had a very successful start to this campaign, and a recent poll shows Mandela is currently tied with Ron Johnson. But the truth is that our fundraising is a bit behind where we're like it to be at this point in the month.

We cannot afford to slow down – not with everything that's at stake in this race. So we're asking you directly:
