Since the beginning of October, we’ve announced two major updates for our candidate recruiting and development work, and now we have even more to share. Here are the highlights:

• Launched New Power, a project of New Politics, to recruit and empower young servant leaders from marginalized or underserved communities to run for office and win
• Partnered with Snapchat on their new Run for Office initiative to help young Americans learn about running for office and access New Politics advising
• Nearly 1,000 servant leaders have signed up to explore running for office as a New Politics candidate in just the last two weeks!

 

Now, we’re asking for your help to make sure we have the resources to support all these servant leaders. As our community continues to grow, we have plans to hire additional staff to develop them as leaders, advise their campaigns, and help them win. But we offer our services at no cost to candidates or their campaigns, so we’re counting on supporters like you to help scale our work to meet the growing demand.
