We at Smart Approaches to Marijuana (SAM) are expanding at a record pace and are in need of a visionary Chief Development Officer to lead the development of new corporate, foundation, and private partnerships and major gifts in the United States and around the world.
This position, which requires someone with several years of top fundraising experience, would report directly to the President of SAM and would be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and securing new partnerships and major gifts that help meet our ambitions fundraising goals.
This is a perfect opportunity for someone with significant experience securing six and seven figure gifts from a wide array of sources, who enjoys diving into the details with team to set up processes and systems to help our organization prospect, cultivate, and close major gifts, and understands philanthropy and its importance.
