Booster Doses of the Pfizer Vaccine Available
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration authorized a booster dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine (COMIRNATY®) for people whom it has been more than six months since their second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine and they are ages 65 years and older or living in a long-term care facility; ages 18 to 64 years who have an underlying medical condition, such as cystic fibrosis, that puts them at high risk for severe illness; or those who have jobs that increase their risk of exposure to, or transmission of, SARS-CoV-2.
