Fortunately, we are busy cleaning up after this guy’s mess in the West Virginia Attorney General’s Office. Here are just a few things we are working on in our fight against federal and state overreach:
🛂 Suing To Stop The Biden Border Disorder 🛂
We have filed a lawsuit to block the flood of fentanyl and other illicit drugs coming across the border. Since Biden took office, illicit drugs are coming into the U.S. like never before. Our lawsuit will stop this!
🔫 Stopping The Gun Grab 🔫
In recent weeks, we submitted legal comments against two of the Biden proposals to curtail your gun rights. We submitted comments against the Biden ghost gun proposal (which tries to illegally regulate gun parts previously not subject to regulation) and the Biden pistol brace proposal, which would make it much harder for the disabled and elderly citizens to acquire a gun which relies on a pistol brace (historically used to improve accuracy for the user).
💉 Opposing Vaccine Mandates 💉
In the last month, my Office issued a lengthy opinion letter against vaccine mandates. We also made clear that West Virginia state government could not utilize them, and educated citizens about the necessity for maintaining -- at a minimum -- religious and medical exceptions to mandates. At the same time, we are ready to get into court to sue Biden over his mandates— as soon as he finalizes his rule, we will see him in court!
👶 Standing Up For The Sanctity Of Life 👶
We are part of a broad multi-state coalition helping Mississippi in their efforts to overturn the tragic Roe framework. We will be helping our sister state out as they argue at the Supreme Court in December.
🔋 Fighting For America’s Energy Independence 🔋
We have multiple cases pending to push back against efforts to dramatically curtail the use of fossil fuels and provide China with a strategic advantage on energy issues. If Biden’s energy policies hold, consumers will be left holding the bag in the form of massive hikes in their power bills. Our litigation would stop that!
