Dear Friend,
On November 12, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear oral arguments that will determine the legal fate of hundreds of thousands of people like me. I came to the U.S. as a child, and my life here was transformed by DACA. DACA allowed me to get a college education that I otherwise couldn't have gotten. And it has opened countless doors ever since in the only place I call home.
But I don't need the Supreme Court to tell me what I know to be true: For me -- and for those like me -- home is here. We are part of the fabric of our communities, our workplaces, and our country. And we are here to stay.

My coworkers at the National Immigration Law Center are part of the legal team bringing this important case to the Supreme Court. We promised we'd fight to defend DACA, and we know that fight won't stop here. We'll use every tool available, both inside and outside the courtroom, to defend the dignity of all our community members.
I hope you'll read my story, and then I hope you'll visit www.homeishere.us to learn how you can join the fight to defend DACA.
Thank you for continuing to stand on the side of justice and dignity for all.
With gratitude,
Diana Pliego
