The past 18 months have been an exercise in loss, learning, and transformation. Never before have we been collectively forced to confront the tough realities of systemic failures and baked-in structural inequities as illuminated during the twin pandemics of Covid-19 and the racial reckoning catalyzed by the brutal murder of George Floyd. We have also witnessed an unprecedented level of transformative solidarity, with unexpected allies stepping forward and joining long-term advocates for racial and economic equity to push for bold, lasting change. 

It has been a long, painful journey, and we are by no means at the end of it, but there is an incredible opportunity in front of us to co-create a just, inclusive, and equitable world in which all can participate, prosper, and reach their full potential.
