It’s time to shatter the mental health stigma.  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

Save the Children Action Network is the political voice for kids.

14% of the world’s children struggle with mental health disorders – yet less than 1% of the money we spend on global health needs is helping to address it. Send a message to your members of Congress: co-sponsor the MINDS Act to ensure kids everywhere grow up happy and healthy.

Hi John –

Hunger. Poverty. School closures. Heightened risks of domestic violence, abuse and neglect. COVID-19 triggered unprecedented crises for kids everywhere. But they’re fighting an invisible battle, too – a battle with mental health.

Today’s children are struggling with depression, anxiety and other stress-related conditions like never before. Kids in conflict-affected areas are especially vulnerable as they suffer displacement, separation and immeasurable loss. There are 426 million of them around the world – and 1 in 5 may have a mental health disorder.

John, kids around the world are living in extreme hardship – but you can help. Urge your members of Congress to co-sponsor the Mental Health in International Development and Humanitarian Settings (MINDS) Act!

The MINDS Act asks the U.S. to develop a strategic approach when it comes to providing other countries with mental health support. For the first time ever, the U.S. would be required to monitor our efforts and ensure they're making a lasting impact. These investments can help break cycles of poverty, improve kids’ psychosocial well-being and build the resilience of vulnerable communities.

With this aid, countless kids will get a chance to grow up happy and healthy – and thrive in adulthood. Send a message to Congress today: support the MINDS Act to show children around the world that their mental health matters.

Thank you for being a voice for kids,
