Hi Friend,

One year from now, we’ll be in the most intense few weeks of one of the biggest battles in the country: our chance to vote out Greg Abbott and end his reign of terror on our state.

Friend, that might feel like a long way off. But having spent more than a decade pushing for political progress, I can tell you that this will go by in the blink of an eye. And that’s why right now, Texas Democrats are hard at work laying the groundwork for next November. We’re not taking any chances on saving our state and finally putting an end to these Republican attacks.

Governor Abbott and Texas Republicans have brought a whole lot of suffering to a whole lot of Texans over the last 12 months. From failing to protect us from the winter storm, to mounting countless attacks on our most fundamental rights, Texas Republicans have shown us time and again that they are unfit to lead our state.

In one year, we’ll have the chance to put a stop to this. But we can’t afford to waste a single second to prepare. This is the fight of our lives, and it’s going to take every single one of us doing our part over the coming year if we’re going to achieve our goals next November.
