Hello Comrade,

As part of the American Rescue Plan, Akron is set to receive $145 million in federal funds. This once-in-a-lifetime influx of money could create real change for working-class Akronites. But mayor Horrigan wants to spend it without a budgeting process from city council or input from the community.

Please take a moment to send an email to local government officials telling them Akronites deserve a transparent, democratic process to decide how our city spends $145 million. Want to do more? ?Call local government officials and express your concerns.
