Friends,

We have two deep dives on American politics scheduled for you in the next two weeks.  The two presentations are updated for every showing with current data, newly produced charts and graphs and fresh insights - so even if you caught the last one they are brand new each time.  Each will be recorded and on the NDN site in case you can’t make it and want to watch it at a more convenient time.  Join us for one or both – the more the merrier!  And feel free to invite colleagues and friends.

Friday, Oct 15th 2pm ET – With Democrats Things Get Better (RSVP)

NDN’s signature presentation, With Dems takes an in-depth look at American politics since the Cold War ended and finds that again and again when Democrats came to power things got better in America.  With Republicans, not so much.  We think the main theme that NDN explores in this presentation – that there is a deep and profound asymmetry in the performance of the two American political parties over the past 30+ years – is an essential understanding for any analyst trying to make sense of US politics today.  With Dems runs about 25-30 minutes and there is time afterwards for Q and A and discussion.

You can learn more about With Dems here, check out our monthly report on US jobs which flows from its data, and review discussions of the presentation in these columns in USA Today, the Daily Beast and The Hill.

Friday, Oct 22nd 2pm ET – NDN’s 2022 Election Preview (RSVP)

NDN has updated its popular regular look at the 2020 election for the current cycle.  Once a month we take a look at the current political and polling landscape and look ahead to 2022.  Our election preview runs about 15-20 minutes and there is time for Q and A and discussion afterwards.
