The latest data out of Iowa's Senate race:

Friend – radical Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley (IA) just launched his reelection campaign, and his challenger, Democrat Abby Finkenauer, is up against a tight mid-month fundraising deadline at 11:59 p.m. tomorrow. We've got to keep pace with these fundraising goals to stay competitive, but we're still falling short. Here are the latest numbers from our data team:

- 64% of Iowa voters DON'T want to reelect Sen. Grassley, and Abby is running to defeat him in what The Des Moines Register called a "marquee matchup" – making this our best chance in decades to flip this seat blue.
- The Senate is split 50-50, meaning Democrats MUST defeat vulnerable incumbents like Sen. Grassley to maintain and expand our majority.
- The GOP Senate campaign arm has already raised $76 MILLION dedicated to defeating Democratic challengers like Abby and taking back the Senate – and an ally of Mitch McConnell has vowed to make Joe Biden a "half-term president" by dismantling Democratic majorities in Congress.
- Abby's big mid-month fundraising goal is tomorrow, but she's forecasted to fall short the $25,000 she needs to raise to defeat Sen. Grassley in Iowa.
