I was worried, friend: You see, a few days ago, grassroots donations slowed at the worst possible moment: The Senate Republican campaign arm just announced they've hauled in over $75 million this year – money they can drop into Florida any moment – just as a poll showed me 2 points behind Rubio.

But THEN, I reached out to grassroots supporters like you, who stepped up immediately. Donations skyrocketed as we approached mid-month, and our momentum was back in full force!  

But even with this surge in support, I'm still $19,544 short of my $50,000 mid-month fundraising goal. 

The road ahead will be tough, and every deadline matters. Florida's last Senate race was decided by a tiny sliver – smaller than 1% of the vote! – and national Republicans are pouring everything they've got into defending Rubio because Senate control is likely to come down to what happens in this race. 

The Cook Political Report increased my chances of winning. We're gaining ground, and the GOP is taking notice. I am not giving up on Florida – but Rubio has the advantage, and I am depending on you to maintain my momentum and win. 

So I'm asking for your help to reach my mid-month fundraising goal – it's the only way I'll be able to flip Florida blue and defend our Senate Democratic majority. Please, before my midnight deadline, will you rush a donation of $5 or more to help me defeat Marco Rubio and flip Florida blue?
