Black History Month

Book cover

To celebrate *Black History Month*, we have teamed up with local authors from "Nottingham Writers Studio", providing a selection of works from the much celebrated *'Black Lives'*.

Black Lives is a collection of stories where ethnic minorities take the major roles.

Written by a diverse range of 27 authors from around the globe, their tales cross all genres while tackling issues of race, colourism and identity.

Check out the website for a selection of stories from the collection, recorded and read by the authors.

We have also put together a selection of books that celebrate our ethnically diverse communities and offer a starting point for exploring racism, prejudice, diversity and black history.

We have different book lists for all ages, both fiction and non fiction that you can explore.
