Wednesday on MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell Reports ([link removed]) , inveterate liar Rep. Adam Schiff ([link removed]) threatened that the subjects of the January 6 select committee who refused to respond to subpoenas would be “quickly” referred for criminal prosecution.
Schiff said, “We are deadly serious about getting to the bottom of everything that happened up to January 6th and thereafter."
Fact check: if Democrats were deadly serious about getting to the bottom of the January 6th chaos, they would investigate the FBI entrapment and the Antifa ([link removed]) instigation of the "insurrection" falsely blamed on Trump supporters.
"And if witnesses don’t appear when they’re supposed to, if they don’t produce the documents, we intend to move very quickly to have a vote in the House to hold them in criminal contempt, refer it to the Justice Department for prosecution,” Schiff warned.
“I think if someone thumbs their nose at the law, doesn’t comply, is prosecuted, it will be a powerful message to others that they darn well better comply," Schiff blustered. "It’s a whole different ballgame when you are talking about criminal preceding.”
Democrats care nothing about the rule of law. They care only about the intimidation of power, and they know "darn well" that they themselves manufactured this "insurrection" in order to weaponize it against Trump supporters. Once again, Schiff is lying to cover up Democrat malfeasance, and the complicit media help shape the narrative.

** Schiff Falsely Claims Emails Indicating a Corruption Scheme by Joe Biden & His Son Were Created by Russian Disinformation Agents

In October 2020, it was learned that according to emails retrieved from a laptop computer owned by Joe Biden ([link removed]) ‘s son Hunter Biden, Joe Biden’s longstanding claim that he knew nothing about his son’s overseas financial dealings was false. The New York Post published a bombshell report ([link removed]) indicating that, according to an email retrieved from the computer hard drive, Hunter Biden had introduced his father in April 2015 to Vadym Pozharskyi, an executive at Burisma Holdings, a large Ukrainian gas company where Hunter was a board member. An earlier email from May 2014 also showed Pozharskyi asking Hunter Biden for “advice on how you could use your influence” on the company’s behalf. Additional emails showed ([link removed]) that Hunter Biden had pursued a
number of highly profitable deals involving the CEFC China Energy Company, Communist China’s largest private energy firm, and that Joe Biden had apparently profited financially from those deals.
But Schiff showed no curiosity about this apparent corruption on Joe Biden’s part. Instead, he stated ([link removed]) that the incriminating emails had been planted by “Russian disinformation” agents. “We know that this whole smear on Joe Biden comes from the Kremlin,” Schiff told ([link removed]) CNN‘s Wolf Blitzer ([link removed]) . “That’s been clear for well over a year now that they’ve been pushing this false narrative about this vice president and his son. The origins of this whole smear are from the Kremlin, and the president is only too happy to have Kremlin help in trying to amplify it.”
Schiff’s claims prompted leftwing journalist Glenn Greenwald ([link removed]) to remark ([link removed]) : “First of all, Adam Schiff is seriously the most pathological liar in all of American politics that I have seen in all of my time covering politics and journalism. He just fabricates accusations at the drop of a hat the way that other people change underwear. He is simply lying when he just asserts over and over that the Russians or the Kremlin are behind this story. He has no idea whether or not that’s true. There’s no evidence to support it.”
