The end of October is quickly approaching. In our family, that means it's time for some last minute Halloween costumes, a Costco run to buy even more candy, and of course, an email about my campaign's monthly fundraising deadline.

As it stands now, we're falling short of our goal for October by $5,280. That's the bad news.

But here's the good news: This group of supporters has always had my back. Last election, people didn't think we could win, but you proved them wrong. With your support and another incredible team effort, we're going to do it again.

This is one of the most competitive races in the country, so I have been a constant target of digital, smear ads, both from my opponents and the special interests groups funding them. These attacks aren't going to stop, but if we fall short of our fundraising, these groups will take it as a sign of weakness and step up their spending even more.
