This is a crisis:
Right now, 45 million people in America collectively owe more than $1.8
trillion in student debt. And with student loan repayments set to resume
in just a few months, President Biden is running out of time to take
action.
[ [link removed] ]Will you send a message to Joe Biden and tell him: President Biden, the
clock is ticking for you to do right by the people who elected you —
cancel at least $50,000 in student debt for every borrower right now »

Joe Biden promised to take action on student debt upon taking office, and
he has the power to do so right now, but he’s stalled on the issue.
In April, the Biden Administration promised to release a memo to determine
the extent of the administration’s authority to broadly cancel student
debt through executive action — and six months later, it has yet to be
released.
Ayanna and our movement have been leading the fight to cancel at least
$50,000 in student loan debt. That’s why, on Friday, she joined her
sister-in-service, Rep. Ilhan Omar, and other House colleagues, to urge
President Biden to release the memo and deliver on his promise to cancel
student debt.
Crushing student debt is a policy failure. Resuming student debt payments
in the middle of a pandemic when so many individuals and families are
already strained to the breaking point is policy violence. It’s past time
for President Biden to take action.
[ [link removed] ]If you agree, send an urgent message to President Biden and tell him to
release the memo and extend relief to millions of student loan borrowers
by canceling student loan debt permanently.
Thank you for taking action,
The A-Team
