Hi friend,
I wanted to quickly check in with a few updates about my campaign. A lot has changed over the last couple of weeks, and I want to make sure you're in the loop:
• Montana's redistricting commission is getting closer to finalizing our new district boundaries in MT-02. We're laying the groundwork to hit the ground running and communicate with voters once the lines are announced later this month.
• Our likely Republican opponent Ryan Zinke reported raising $600,000 in the most recent fundraising quarter. Zinke outraised us by over $130,000 thanks to his relationships with corporate PACs and polluters.
• Zinke is trying to whitewash his horrific record as Interior Secretary. He released an op-ed claiming he "never sold" public lands despite the fact that his tenure saw the largest giveaway of fossil fuel leases in American history -- including at national monuments.
• We continue to consolidate overwhelming support. Dozens of local and elected leaders and nearly 3,000 contributors from across Montana and the country have endorsed our campaign. And our momentum continues to grow.
It's critical that we do our best to keep pace with Zinke and his special interest allies. But since I'm not taking a dime from corporate polluters, we're depending on individual donors like you to do it. Can you chip in a donation of $3 to help us hit our end-of-week fundraising goal?
I've said this before, but it's worth repeating: Zinke and his friends will do whatever it takes to muddy the waters. Our job is to stay laser-focused on the issues that matter most for Montanans. That's why building a strong grassroots team in every corner of this community is so critical.
Thanks in advance for your support,
Cora
