John,
The Texas Senate moved to advance the gerrymandered map we warned you about last week.
Please see what The Texas Tribune wrote after the Senate voted to approve this map:
“The Texas Senate approved a map Friday that would largely protect incumbents in Congress while reducing the number of districts in which Black and Hispanic residents make up the majority of eligible voters” - Texas Tribune
Texas added two new Congressional districts and the state is becoming even more diverse. That terrifies Republicans. The Texas GOP plans to steal these districts with gerrymandered maps that suppress the vote.
We can respond with a strong, grassroots movement that defeats these state legislators in the fall. Can you chip in to help us win back Texas?

The next few months will be all about maps and redistricting. Republicans are picking their voters by gerrymandering districts. Making sure voters are tuned into this conversation and have a voice in November is critical. We must raise grassroots dollars to do all of that. Can we count on you?
Thank you,
