Hi John,

We wanted to quickly introduce ourselves!

The beginning of 2020 was when our team jumped into the work of helping Democratic female candidates. We were a group of eager volunteers who just wanted to use our wide range of skills to help women get elected. By the end of 2020, we had worked with candidates in almost every state across the nation and had rallied more than 26,000 people to join our coalition.

That experience, as invigorating as it was, opened our eyes to the challenges and disturbing realities women face when they enter politics in this country. We learned that female candidates deal with misogyny, double standards, sexism, and an onslaught of violent and sexual threats.

It’s harder to run for office as a woman – but it’s imperative that we pursue seats at the decision-making tables with the ultimate goal of equal representation in mind.

For example, 73% of current U.S. Representatives are male. Her Bold Move is on a mission to change that. That’s why we’re here. We want to shatter every glass ceiling that still exists in our government.

We elect women to seats that have historically only been held by men (unfortunately, there are hundreds of thousands of government seats that still fit this description).

How are we doing that, you may ask?

Her Bold Move provides critical support to women candidates and their campaign teams through:

• Financial aid;
• Field Organizing;
• Paid Media;
• Message Amplification;
• And mentorship programs.

We have a plan to uplift the voices of compassionate, pragmatic, progressive women who are ready to serve their communities. We hope you'll join us.
