Join us on Friday, October 15, as we celebrate the right to think freely with a carpool cinema screening of "The Hunger Games." The book has been banned and challenged across the U.S. for "insensitivity," being "anti-family" and many other reasons.

But at the ACLU of Alaska, we believe the right to free expression means the right to think freely without the government's policing of your thoughts. We believe in an educated citizenry and a society where ideas are openly disseminated, discussed, and debated. And throughout our history, we have worked to protect the right to access information, and the right to make up your own mind.

Cars can show up an hour early, at 6 p.m. Spots will be first come, first served.

Cars need to be off during the show, so bring whatever you need to stay cozy during the drive-in.
