A new poll shows that the race for Maryland’s next governor is WIDE OPEN. With nine candidates in the race, a plurality of voters are still undecided — so we have to seize this opportunity to show why John is the right candidate for Maryland at this moment.

Our campaign’s game plan to communicate with as many voters as possible depends on having the resources to grow our movement in every corner of the state. Effective statewide organizing will require running costly TV, digital, and radio ads, producing yard signs and bumper stickers, recruiting a large team of staff and volunteers to talk with Marylanders across the state, and so much more.

John has a unique perspective and a vision for a more equitable future for all Marylanders. But sharing John’s vision for a more just Maryland requires resources, and if we don’t raise enough money we risk having to scale back our plans to share John’s progressive message with all Marylanders.
