FAMILIES BELONG TOGETHER
========================
John, we urge you to join our partners at Haitian Bridge Alliance, Black Alliance for Just Immigration, and UndocuBlack on the National Day of Action to Defend Black Immigrants tomorrow to advocate for Black migrant children and families at risk of being expelled back to danger, held in ICE detention centers or completely abandoned by the Biden administration.

The images of men on horseback and the stories our team heard on the ground are heartbreaking. It’s inconceivable that in only a few weeks, U.S. officials organized themselves to expel over 7,700 Haitians -- including babies, toddlers, and pregnant people -- seeking safety from a country devastated by violence, political unrest, and the aftermath of a recent earthquake.
We need to demand change now. Check out this list of in-person and virtual events that you can show up to and demonstrate your support for Black migrants tomorrow. [[link removed]]
We can and must do better -- children and families should be welcomed with compassion, dignity, and care -- not by armed men in kevlar on horseback.
We have the power to demonstrate, protest, and show up to demand justice.
John, will you show up for Black migrants tomorrow, October 14? [[link removed]]
RSVP to a solidarity event near you.
Everyone seeking safety deserves a home where they are protected. And the U.S. must live up to that promise now.
With your help, we can show the Biden administration that Black migrant families will always be welcomed here.
Thank you for all you do,
Emily Ramirez
