Welcome to WCV's Weekly Election Update, your one-stop-shop for pertinent voting information, actions to take, and upcoming events hosted by WCV-endorsed candidates. With a plethora of local elections happening this year, the future of our environment and communities are at stake. Electing pro-environment local governments is a crucial factor in creating an equitable, just, and healthy environment for all, especially on issues we all care about like housing justice, clean water, and public transportation.

The General Election is fast approaching — ballots are being sent this week! All registered voters should receive their ballots this weekend. You have until November 2nd to return your ballot, but make sure to get your vote counted early and remind your friends and family to cast their ballots, too. Still need to register or update your registration? You can do that online or by mail until October 25, or in person until November 2. [[link removed]]

Join the Evergreen Future Textbanking team! [[link removed]] Volunteers will send texts to thousands of voters to get out the vote for pro-environment candidates in local elections across the state. To be a part of this team, you just commit to sending texts for three hour-and-a-half shifts between now and Election Day — that's it! Training is provided by our field team.
