WisGOP Statement on the RNC Resolution Condemning Democrats’ Secretive Impeachment Investigation

[Madison, WI] – In response to the RNC resolution condemning Democrats’ secretive impeachment investigation, the Republican Party of Wisconsin issued the following statement from Executive Director Mark Jefferson:

“Today, the RNC Executive Committee unanimously chose to stand with President Trump and condemn House Democrats’ secretive and illegitimate impeachment inquiry. These closed-door impeachment proceedings deny our President the due process enjoyed by every other American. The Republican Party of Wisconsin applauds the work President Trump is doing for the American people in the face of yet another partisan witch hunt.”
