My name is Andrew Brunson. I am a US citizen who served as a missionary pastor in Turkey for more than 20 years. But in 2016, I was unjustly imprisoned for two years for simply living out my faith toward the people of Turkey.
By the grace of God, three years ago, I returned to the US after being imprisoned in Turkey. That was a really good day.
During the two years, I was held in a Turkish prison, Senator James Lankford never stopped fighting for me. He met personally with government leaders in Turkey, stayed in contact with my family, pushed for sanctions on the Turkish government, and made sure I was not forgotten.
My family and I are grateful for his steadfast personal dedication to Jesus Christ and his tireless work to free prisoners of conscience around the world that face discrimination, prison, and persecution daily for simply living their faith.
We need someone who will never give up on the fight to ensure every American has the right to live their faith freely each and every day.

On the three-year anniversary of my return home from prison for living my faith--I want to thank every Oklahoman that sent James to Congress, and I hope that you will continue to support him.
He is a good man--a proven man--and our country desperately needs people like him!
James worked tirelessly for my release when I was in a Turkish prison; I know he will work tirelessly for you and your family.
