Alert: Act Now! Save Women’s Sport Bill Set For Floor Vote
This morning the Calendars Committee announced that the House Floor vote on Save Girls’ Sports bill (HB 25) will take place tomorrow, with Rep. Valoree Swanson leading the bill. Biological boys in girls' sports is a growing problem. We need you to call and email members of the Texas House and ask them to support HB 25 and vote YES. Our members need your support in protecting girls' sports. The Biden administration is promoting biological males competing in female sports with his executive order that promotes transgenderism in public schools and ignores Title IX. Time is running out with only a few days left in the Third Special Session. H.B. 25 prohibits biological males from competing in University Interscholastic League (UIL) sports meant for biological females, specifically in middle school and high school. H.B. 25 intends to correct the widespread issue of biological boys and men unfairly competing in women’s sports. Our strong Texas House members need support from their constituents in defending this bill. Please ask them to vote “no” on any amendments to this bill, especially amendments to this bill that will weaken it or turn the bill into a "study." This is our last and best chance to get something done on this issue. |
