Hi friend, I'll keep this quick. I've been pretty busy this past month, and it looks like that's not going to change any time soon. I'm focused on the critical work in Congress, but I wanted to ask if you can help with another responsibility that's important to me, and to the country.

Earlier this year, I agreed to be the Frontline Finance Chair for the House Democrats, which means I signed up to help make sure our frontline members have the resources they need to win their reelection.

And I was happy to do it, because these are the members who gave us the Majority that's allowing us to do the critical work we're doing for the country now. And they're up against a wave of Republican money trying to take them down.

We can't let them, friend. Like I said, I'm keeping this quick, but I asked one of the frontline members, TJ Cox, to write you a quick note about what he has been up to in Congress and what your support means. If you'd consider supporting both of us, it would mean a lot.

Thanks,

Adam

Hi friend,

I'm TJ Cox: proud father, engineer, small businessman, and Representative of California's 21st congressional district. I began my first term in Congress earlier this year after people like you brought the Blue Wave to the polls, helping us take back the House and flip this seat from red to blue. It was the closest victory of any California House race, and the last Congressional race called in 2018.

Since I was sworn in last January, I've worked tirelessly to bring positive change to the Central Valley and our country as a whole, like supporting legislation to protect and expand our healthcare, strengthen voting rights, get big money out of politics, and so much more.

But with my 2018 Republican opponent challenging me for a rematch in 2020, all of that progress is at stake.

Last quarter alone, former GOP Representative David Valadao raised a whopping $530,000 -- no doubt with help from Republican mega donors aiming to take back the House.

Just like in 2018, our campaign is powered by grassroots supporters like you, and we need all the help we can get if we're going to hold on to this seat and fend off our opponent in 2020.

Will you split a contribution of $5 or more to me and Adam today to help us keep this crucial House seat and hold onto the Democratic House Majority, so we can keep fighting for you?

I decided to run for office because it was clear that for far too long, politicians have put party and special interests over the people. Republicans like Valadao want to return to that time by taking back the House -- for the sake of our country and our future, we can't let them.

Thanks for your support,
