We are sorry to see mayoral candidate Javiera Caballero's announcement that she will suspend her campaign. <[link removed]> Javiera earned the People's Alliance PAC endorsement by a strong majority of the over 400 PA PAC members at the endorsement meeting. Javiera's clear vision of inclusive policy for our city is inspiring. We look forward to her continued leadership on Durham City Council on issues like community safety, climate change, and immigrant rights.



We note that since Javiera earned the endorsement of the People's Alliance PAC membership, her name appears on our general election mailer and sample ballot, which have already been printed.



It is more important than ever before to support the PA PAC-endorsed candidates for City Council, Marion T. Johnson, Mark-Anthony Middleton, and AJ Williams.
