We cannot forget the roots of our progressive movement and campaign.
Our movement was built by working parents, students, activists, laborers, teachers, and more, all doing what they could to keep fighting for our progressive agenda, even through hard times.
In order to keep fighting for the very individuals who helped build our movement, we need to make sure we hit our mid-month goal for October — but this month, we aren’t focusing on raising a certain dollar amount. Instead, we want to see how many people can contribute to help build our movement, no matter how big or small.
This movement is about doing what you can to fight for our values, and we know for some that could be contributing more or less right now. So, will you give whatever you can afford, whether that be $5, $15, or $50, so we can hit our goal of 500 donations by midnight on October 15?
Ro has never taken money from PACs, including corporate PAC money — and that’s the path we intend on following. It allows Ro to focus on the needs of the people instead of special interests or corporations.
But it makes fundraising a bit harder, especially when so many of us are still feeling the financial effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite this, supporters like you have kept our fight alive: for universal health care, for a living wage, for the things that matter most for working people.
Remember, even a donation as small as $3 has a lot of power — because when you chip in alongside thousands of like-minded allies nationwide, we can keep up our fight for our progressive ideals.
