All,
During my time as the Democratic Minority Leader in Kentucky’s Senate, I’ve built coalitions to get meaningful progressive policies passed in the toughest of political environments.

As a state Senator and the Minority Leader of the Kentucky Senate, I’ve successfully passed bills through a Republican super-majority to protect marriage equality, provide more resources for Kentucky’s oldest HBCU, and offer additional protections for survivors of abuse and human trafficking.

I’ll always stand up for what’s right while working to actually get something done. That’s because I believe no matter where you come from, where you live, or where you’re going, everyone deserves access to quality affordable healthcare, a good-paying job, clean air and a criminal justice system that treats us all fairly. That’s why I just launched my campaign for Congress in KY-03.

With your help, we can ensure there’s at least one Democrat fighting for Kentuckians in Congress with the proven ability to make progress on creating a better future. We need 1,000 Founding Grassroots Donors in the 72 hours to jump-start this campaign -- Can I count on you to chip in right now? [[link removed]]

We can’t wait any longer to see Congress act to end generational poverty, curb global warming, provide universal pre-k and affordable childcare, and reform our criminal justice system -- starting with legalizing and taxing marijuana.

I have the experience to effectively advocate for the policies of tomorrow while fighting those wishing to drag us into the past. I've stood against the worst of what the Trump-Bevin Republicans in Frankfort have been forcing on Kentucky families, and I’m ready to bring that same fight to Congress against the Marjorie Taylor Greenes and the Madison Cawthorns. We can unequivocally push back against hurtful policies while pushing forward an inclusive agenda. And we must have a representative capable of doing both.

If you chip in right now , we’ll be on our way to ensuring Kentuckians have a representative in Congress they can be proud of. Can I count on you to chip in? [[link removed]]
