Join AFL-CIO President Liz Shuler and Fair Fight Action founder Stacey Abrams for a fireside chat on protecting the freedom to vote and the power of organized labor. The event will be livestreamed tomorrow, Oct. 14 at 7:30 p.m. ET.

If we want labor law reform, we need to protect our right to vote for pro-worker candidates.

 

So join us for this event that will focus on the connection between democracy at the voting booth and in the workplace, the importance of representation and the power of collective bargaining.

 

With anticipated movement on two critical pieces of voting rights legislation—the Freedom to Vote Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act—in the U.S. Senate, the two leaders will discuss the urgent need for Congress to take action to protect the freedom to vote for all eligible workers, particularly those who rely on early voting and mail-in voting to accommodate their work schedules.
