The attack on the Capitol on January 6th was not a protest. It was an attempt to subvert US democracy through violence.

Before we can recover from the insurrection, we need answers. We need to know how it was organized, funded, and carried out, so it'll never happen again.

The investigation by the bipartisan January 6 select committee will help us find these answers. That's why I'm putting my full support behind it — and calling on all my colleagues, no matter their party affiliation, to do the same.
