It's not too late to join us in D.C. to demand an end to fossil fuels!
John,
Anti-fossil fuel protests are in full swing outside the White House this week for the People vs. Fossil Fuels mobilization!
Indigenous water protectors, activists, and Tribal leaders from across the country have spent the last two days protesting outside the White House to demand that President Biden stop all new fossil fuel projects and declare a climate emergency. Over 300 people engaged in peaceful civil disobedience and were arrested between Monday and Tuesday.
President Biden has the power to stop the approval of new fossil fuel projects, intervene to block Line 3, and nominate environmental justice champions to serve at every level of his administration. But he won’t act unless we force him.
It’s up to us to force Biden and his team to meet this moment, follow the science, and stand up for the communities most impacted by pollution and climate disasters.

And if you’ve never done something like this before, or have any questions, you’re not alone; we’re working with an amazing group of organizers to pull this off and will support you all along the way.
Food & Water Watch and its affiliated organization, Food & Water Action, are advocacy groups with a common mission to protect our food, water and climate.
