Friend – it's time to reform the filibuster.

Voters sent Democratic leadership to the House, Senate and White House for a reason: They trust our party to lead the country. But Republicans are wielding the filibuster to obstruct progress – progress that would make a real difference to working families: an increase to the minimum wage, protections for workers' rights and unions, and legislation to put a stop to Republican-led efforts to suppress the vote. All of it has been blocked or threatened by the filibuster.

Republicans have every right to disagree with the details of legislation. But they aren't using the filibuster for the sake of debate or to benefit their constituents. They are using it to embolden a far-right agenda that's out of touch with voters. 

I know that working families need a government that works for them, but with the filibuster in place, the Senate cannot do its job effectively. That's why I'm counting on this grassroots team to speak out alongside me and demand filibuster reform. I need 5,000 responses, including yours, before our midnight deadline:
