Facebook and community groups publish guide to protect Jews on the site
The Community Security Trust (CST) and the WJC's affiliated community, the Board of Deputies of British Jews, helped launch the 20-page guide, titled ‘Protecting the Jewish Community from Antisemitism on Facebook,’ as part of National Hate Crime Awareness Week.

Bulgarian Jewish organization condemns nationalist Sofia mayoral candidate’s backing for Lukov March

Four congressmen call out Twitter for allowing Hamas and Hezbollah on the platform
Reps. Josh Gottheimer, D-N.J.; Tom Reed, R-N.Y.; Max Rose, D-N.Y.; and Brian Fitzpatrick, R-Pa., wrote in a letter to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey on Tuesday that they were alarmed to learn that Twitter “draws a distinction between the political and military factions of these organizations,” quoting from Twitter’s initial response to their concerns.

Israel-Kazakhstan relations continue to expand and diversify under new president
Alexander Baron, the head of the Association of Jewish National Organizations of the Republish of Kazakhstan (Mitsva), an affiliate of the World Jewish Congress, said in a statement sent to JNS that he concurred with the Israeli ambassador in that Tokayev is continuing the legacy of Nazarbayev and “supporting ethnic groups in the country.”

She was a rising star in Poland. On October 23, 1943, Jewish dancer Franciszka Manheimer-Rosenberg, known as Franceska Mann, arrived at Auschwitz. Her final act of defiance against the Nazis is now a legend. We remember.
