We wanted to make sure you saw some big news: Amanda’s former Republican opponent George Buck has officially endorsed her campaign! George is a Fire Fighter, a Veteran who served our country honorably and was our party's nominee for Congress in 2018. George garnered the support of nearly one-third of Pinellas County Republican voters in the 2020 primary and is now firmly behind Amanda.

Here’s what George had to say about the race:

“I am endorsing Amanda Makki today because she is the only true conservative in this race. Amanda’s opponent is a phony who couldn’t care less about the people in Pinellas County. She only came here to run for Congress and she failed miserably. Voters in Florida’s 13th District won’t fall for a wolf in sheep’s clothing twice. She’s an avid Obama supporter who wants to get famous on the backs of our hard-working community. If that’s not enough, she disgraced our country with her act of stolen valor. Amanda has worked tirelessly to help conservatives like President Trump get elected. She’s the only candidate in this race who volunteered as an election attorney for President Trump and took on the Democrat election mob bosses in Wisconsin following the 2020 presidential elections.” - George Buck

George was a worthy opponent, a life-long Pinellas County resident, and he knows we need to restore this seat to the days of Bill Young when Veterans were a priority. But it’s going to take all of us pulling together to get that done.
