When an abortion-bound woman finds out she's pregnant with twins, it would seem to double her motivation for ending her pregnancy.

But 40 Days for Life vigil participants report the opposite is often true.

The knowledge that there are TWO beating hearts within a mother's womb often leads her to choose life.

In Louisville, Kentucky, Carolyn offered pregnancy help resources to a couple leaving the abortion facility, asking whether they had seen an ultrasound yet.

"Yes, it's twins!" the smiling mother beamed, adding that they had chosen not to proceed with their planned abortion.

"Praise God!" exclaimed Carol, the local campaign leader. "Carolyn was able to provide information to help them, and they went on their way!"

Carol exhorted volunteers to keep this young couple in their prayers because "they had the courage and love to keep their babies."

Columbia, South Carolina

"Today was a great day in Columbia, South Carolina," reported Mark, the local campaign leader. "A mother came out and told us when she discovered she was having twins, she knew she had to leave!"

That's not all. That same day, an abortion-bound woman talked with a sidewalk counselor named Elizabeth for more than ten minutes before going into Planned Parenthood...

...but she ultimately opted against abortion.

"A few minutes later, the client came back out, drove right over to Elizabeth, jumped out of her car, ran up to Elizabeth, and gave her a big hug!" Mark said. "They were both crying for joy."

Cherry Hill, New Jersey

A couple in New Jersey chose life--specifically because they were expecting twins.

"The fact that there were two made the difference," wrote Claire, the longtime Cherry Hill campaign leader. "[Vigil participants] speculated that two babies means two guardian angels, so they had more strength. I never heard that theory before and I like it!"

Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Vigil participants in Milwaukee learned that their prayers and support saved a pair of twins from abortion during a 40 Days for Life vigil back in 2019!

"I got to speak with the mother...and she thanked us 'for being there for her,'" reported Dan.

Who among all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this, in His hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.
