John: Emerge alums are shaking up politics-as-usual and demanding policies that put people first.

Today, we're featuring three powerhouse alums fighting for our communities in Virginia, Nevada, and Georgia. This event is open to our entire community, RSVP now, and pay what you can to join them in our Virtual Salon Series!

Hala Ayala helped organize the first-ever Women’s March on Washington in 2017. Inspired by the movement, she ran for Virginia’s 51st House District and won against a four-term Republican incumbent.

Selena Torres is a proud product of Nevada’s public education system. She’s an advocate for policies that put children and families first and ensure that our schools equip every child to achieve their American dream.

Deborah Gonzalez is a champion for restorative justice, criminal justice reform, and investing in young people. As a district attorney, she is focused on serving real people, not just winning in court.

Team Emerge is proud to have such phenomenal women in our sisterhood – shattering ceilings, breaking barriers, and creating better opportunities for all. Will you donate and help recruit, train, and elect Democratic women up and down the ballot, in every state?

Emerge is a national organization working to recruit, train, and get Democratic women elected across the country, and we are so grateful to have you on our team. Our alums are strong voices for Democratic values — and they are running up and down the ballot to fight for working families. They are fighting for critical issues that affect our communities, such as the environment, accessible and affordable health care, social justice, and education equity. We need more alums fighting for us across the country.

You may notice that we send a lot of emails asking for your support — that’s because we win when everyone does what they can to help. Our organization depends on thousands of actual people who care about our democracy and want to see positive change in our communities and across our country by building power through investing in Democratic women. If you’d like to donate, click here.
