Friend,
As a combat veteran, I know from firsthand experience that America's strength is tied to the trust we have with our partners and allies.
But this administration's reckless decision to abruptly leave Syria undermines the commitment to our Kurdish friends -- who helped us fight ISIS -- and sends a message to our allies across the globe that the American handshake doesn't matter.
Let me be clear: leaving Syria makes us less safe and isolates us from the allies that keep us strong, at home and abroad.
I voted to condemn the dangerous choice to leave Syria, and the Trump administration needs to reverse this reckless decision. Add your name to demand that we recommit to our Kurdish allies >> [link removed]
During my three deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, I counted on our local allies to help keep my platoon safe and secure. They knew they could count on us too, because the American word is our bond.
But now, America has left our Kurdish allies isolated and surrounded by enemies. They are in immense danger, and other foreign adversaries like ISIS and Russia now have an opportunity to exert greater influence in the region.
It is imperative that this decision is reversed immediately to preserve the well-being of our relationships with partners of all backgrounds. Stand with me to demand that we protect our Kurdish allies now.

America must remain a resolute partner to the Kurds and our friends across the globe.
Thank you,
Jason
