John,
10 days.
It’s been 10 days since a tragic oil spill in Orange County decimated our coastline, closed our beaches, and harmed our wildlife.
While Democrats are working together to protect our environment, just days before the spill, Republicans Michelle Steel and Young Kim voted to defund disaster relief for Californians. They turned their backs on wildfire and flood victims, and now Southern California communities are grappling with the aftereffects of an environmental disaster.
It’s clear that Michelle Steel and Young Kim can’t be trusted to care for our natural resources and don’t belong in Congress.
John, can you chip in $10 to our 2022 fight fund? Michelle Steel and Young Kim are well funded by Big-Oil, so we’ll need to work hard to beat their fundraising advantage.

The OC Oil Spill is a tragedy we’ll be recovering from for months to come. That’s why we need Representatives in Congress that will work to advance environmental policies that put people before profit, take action to hold those responsible accountable, and ensure oil never darkens our shores again.
Thank you for joining the fight to make that a reality.
In Solidarity,
California Democratic Party
