Team Christy here -- we've been busy these last few months and we thought we'd fill you in on what we've up to.
Last month, because of grassroots donors like you, we hit our end-of-quarter goal but we're expecting Mike Garcia's FEC report to look a whole lot different than ours with his large corporate PAC donations pouring in. We'll keep you posted on that.
After we hit our goal, Christy attended a local Women's March to advocate for reproductive freedom where she spoke about her personal experience and advocated for the protection of Roe v Wade.
But before all of that, Christy spent time registering voters at a local high school. This is the kind of work we probably won't see Mike Garcia doing any time soon. In fact, he's been spending his time making sure less people can vote.
Activists have already registered 8,000 new voters in the district! It'll be a huge help to flipping this seat.
John, this is just a small look at everything we've been up to lately and we're just getting started. We have a lot of work to do to defeat Mike Garcia but we're a community who understands that in California, there's just too much on the line to not take action. It's why we're working so hard to elect Christy.
Our campaign is built on the idea of helping others, doing the right thing, and most of all staying hopeful that progress is possible when we work together.
