Did you know that the House passed two bills banning new offshore oil drilling on Florida coasts?

This is a huge win for our South Florida communities. It puts a stop to the destruction of our beaches, wildlife habitats, ocean ecosystems and coastal communities. But as you may have guessed, this piece of legislation -- along with countless others that will help South Florida -- is just sitting on Mitch McConnell’s desk so he can protect his Big Oil backers.

Will you add your name with mine to call on Mitch McConnell to value our coastal communities and stop the devastation of our environment all for the sake of Mitch’s friends in the oil industry?

Big Oil spends billions of dollars each year to keep policy like this from being voted upon. That’s why I need your help to join me in standing up for our South Florida coastal communities.
