John -- In the past few months, tens of thousands of dollars from the National Republicans and other GOP-aligned dark money forces have been spent trying to smear my name.

Just recently, the NRCC released a new slew of ads attacking me and twisting my words. While I’ve been fighting to lower childcare costs, prescription drug costs, and make opportunities like community college more accessible to everyone, they call these policies an attack on the middle class.

Our plan would save the average family in Northeastern Pennsylvania over $10,000 in child care per year; if Kevin McCarthy thinks that’s unacceptable, I’d like to have a chat with him about what counts as “middle class” to him.

In light of these increasingly nasty attacks on my character, my team and I set a goal to get 100 small-dollar donations before I send them home for the weekend on Friday.

There is nothing partisan about fighting for my constituents and advocating for everyone in Northeastern Pennsylvania. I want more union jobs, more access to health care, and more families thriving in OUR community.

But the far-right would rather try and make anything a partisan fight than have a real debate on solutions that would help the American people. Now, more than ever, we must protect Congress from being flipped by extremists like Teddy Daniels.
