Working Families Party

John,

Working Families champions and progressives in Congress are fighting hard to pass the Build Back Better Act that would provide jobs and care to working people across this country.

But they’re facing major opposition from Big Pharma, Big Oil, and the corporate Democrats taking their money. It’s time our elected leaders deliver for us.

That’s why tonight, WFP National Director Maurice Mitchell is hosting #TimeToDeliver, a livestream to discuss the work happening inside and outside Congress to pass this critical legislation — and how you can help.

Featuring appearances by Senators Bernie Sanders and Ed Markey, Progressive Caucus Chair Rep. Pramila Jayapal, Reps. Ayanna Pressley, Barbara Lee, and Jimmy Gomez, and movement leaders from Indivisible, United We Dream, Sierra Club, and SEIU, #TimeToDeliver will begin at 8:00 PM EDT/5:00 PM PDT, and you won’t want to miss it.

#TimeToDeliver Livestream. Tuesday, October 12 at 8:00 PM Eastern with Rep. Jayapal, Rep. Gomez, Rep. Pressley, Senator Markey, Rep. Lee, and Senator Sanders. Photos of the listed guests.

This Build Back Better Act is an incredible opportunity to expand health care coverage and lower prescription drug prices, build a pathway to citizenship and include immigrants in recovery provisions, invest in clean energy and climate action, and meet needs like child care, paid leave, and affordable housing. But a small handful of obstructionists are trying to water down the bill on behalf of corporate interests.

We can’t back down, John. And we can’t wait, either. Join us tonight at #TimeToDeliver to help move the fight for the Build Back Better Act forward.

In solidarity,

Working Families Party
